WEAVERLAND MENNONITE FARM IN GORHAM, NEW YORK

These are pictures of a Weaverland Mennonite Farm that I took. Weaverland Mennonites drive cars as you can see in picture give.  I am running very low on Amish and Mennonite pictures do to my car.  If anyone has pictures they would like me to put on here, I would appreciate it.  Maybe next month I can rent a car for a few days if mine isn't fixed.

NOTE:
I'm not feeling well and think that this will be my last post for the week.  If I feel better, I will put one on.  Jean and David and Elmer and Anna think I should take a rest.  Both of them have offered to send a car over to pick me up and take me and Pierre to their house.  Maybe a rest would make me feel better.  I haven't said I would go yet.  But I am thinking about it.  Their county is on WiFi so I could take my computer.  May just stay home.  Hope you all understand.

We ALL need a break sometimes. Do what is best for YOU. That's very nice of Jean, David, Elmer and Anna to offer you their hospitality. Hope you feel better soon.

You absolutely must do what is best for your own health, whether staying at home, or with your dear friends, even if just for a day or two. Don't worry about not posting on your blog, it can wait, your return to good health cannot. Will be praying for your complete recovery, and that you get good medical counsel. Blessings on you!

Take some time off - home or with these loving friends. You must take care of yourself - don't worry about the blog. Going wireless may be just what you need now. Perhaps it would be a good idea to stay with your friends and leave the computer home - :-)

Good morning, Marilyn. You must do what is best for you. Sometimes we need to take a break to regroup and focus what is in our best interests. Your blog has become an important part of my morning. I love your pictures and it is amazing to me how you keep everyone organized and posted! I will keep you in my prayers.

Dear Marilyn, I am sorry to hear that you continue to have such health problems. I have to agree with Littlemancat. I think you should go for several days with either couple in the country, without your computer. You need the break. No one expects you to post daily. Most people do not. I am still praying for you.

Dear Marilyn,
Take care of yourself and get some rest. The blog can wait but your health can't. I do want to share how much I enjoy New York State of Mind, especially your pictures.
Thanks for taking your time to create and maintain it!!!

Dear Marilyn, Along with everyone else, I agree that you should do whatever makes you feel best and that you're more comfortable doing. A few days with your friends may be just the thing to help get over this glitch in your health. Good luck with whatever you decide.

You take care of yourself. I am going to take a break for 2 weeks, family will be in and I will have to cook and do lots of wonderful things. After that I will need a rest.

Thank you all for the prayers and understanding.

Marilyn: I also agree with everyone asking you to take care. Perhaps a week off with TLC will recharge your batteries. The older I get, the more I understand God's commandment to keep the "rest" of the Sabbath Day, no matter what flavor of religion you are. If God took a day off per week, we should too. My small suggestion: when you have recovered your strength, forget about this blog for one day per week to re-connect spiritually. Disconnect from the computer, phones, TV and whatever. Take care of yourself and Pierre.

Hi Carol,
I will take the rest of the week off and see how I feel. Maybe I will come back for Monday, Wednesday and Friday like I use to for a few weeks until I feel better. I do take Sunday's off. I made the posts for the last two Sundays before Sunday and timed them to come on. Thank you for advice, and help.

After reading about panic attacks and how to stop them online I realized mine were "set up" in me by childhood trauma and enhanced by late life health problems. I know I can bring them on by becoming tired, dehydrated and by ingesting too much salt. They come on more often when I am ill with asthma because so many of the medications I take for that cause dehydration. And I don't have to be seriously dehydrated, just a little bit. I do take a prescribed medicine for them but it's light and non-addictive. Online, they talk about interrupting the thought processes that can lead to panic such as negativity, fear, anxiety. I have a tea I make myself with chamomile, spearmint, rose petals, passion flower, catnip, hops and other ingredients that helps me relax. I get into a conversation with someone....small, light talk; or watch something really funny on tv. Once, when I was having an attack late at night, I called the local hospital and a nurse I knew, answered. I asked her if she could talk me out of my panic attack. She said YES. We both burst out laughing. End of panic attack. I get very still when they come on, which is a mistake. Get up and move. Do something you love. Engage a friend in positive talk. Drink at least a glass of water, if not two. Take a shower or go for a swim. If the home remedies don't work, talk to a doctor about it. Medication is such a blessing when other strategies don't work. Prayer is at the center of it all, too. Ask Heavenly Father what he suggests.

I agree with everyone else in their comments about taking time off for your well being and health. If I had friends like Jean, David, Anna and Elmer iviting me to come over for a visit for a few days or a week, I'd go in a heart beat. Maybe a change of routine and time with others would be good for you. It could be a vacation for you and Pierre. You can always come home if it doesn't suit you. You are in my prayers with love.

Absolutely take a break, Marilyn. I wouldn't even think of renting a car just to get more pictures on here and run up another bill for yourself.

Relax, recharge and don't worry about the blog for a while. You know we will all still be here when you are ready! 1 day a week, 2 days a week, whatever you need to do for a while when you do get back! Take care of yourself and Pierre first. :)

I agree with all above. As much as we enjoy your blog, you come first. Take a rest, we will be here when you come back.
Praying for you.
