To pull in this school there is no driveway. Elmer told me to drive across the grass where you could see horse and buggies had been. I trust Elmer as a good friend, but when he tells me things like that with Anna groaning in the back seat, I worry. Elmer said not to worry as there was a farm down the road a bit and if we got stuck, they would get us out. But we made it through the grass without help. Once we got in there was a paved driveway around the school. It was a curve driveway, so going out wasn't as bad as coming in.
First picture is of the school. Second is of the outhouse. Third is the swing set (sorry about having the car in that one) and play area. The last two pictures are for their horses and horse and buggies that some drive to school. Most of the students walk or ride bicycles.

Like the pictures. Now I don't think Elmer would get you in trouble. I do enjoy him when he posts. We have a beautiful sunrise this morning.

Good morning, Marilyn. LOL at Elmer and Anna. Sounds like me and my husband. "Should I pull in here?" "Sure, I can get the tractor if there's a problem." No. I'll take the long way around. LOL
All children love swings...Have a great day!
Good Morning Jodie,
Glad you liked the pictures. Oh, Elmer has gotten me in a couple of close calls with the car. He is very enjoyable. We got a beautiful sunrise today too. It's suppose to rain, but maybe we got avoided.

Good Morning Angela,
Elmer thinks if the horse and buggy can go there, a car can go there, which is not always true. Twice he almost got me stuck in mud. Before I can say anything, when we are in one of our close calls, Anna is giving him the dickens. Of course he always knew where the nearest Amish or Old Order Mennonite Farm was if we needed it. So far we haven't needed it. Now I take a closer look before I try things with the car. LOL

Always an adventure with Elmer, right? We're looking at 88 with poss T-storms this afternoon. Take care+enjoy your day. Blessings, Carol
Very nice Marilyn. You and Pierre enjoy your day!
Nice photos of the school, Marilyn. You have to laugh at Elmer's comments. I think it would be easier to avoid getting stuck, than knowing who can pull me out. But, glad it all was good when you got in the school yard. Have a beautiful day. Hugs, dynna
Good Morning Carol,
Yes, Elmer always has an adventure, that's for sure. It is sprinkling right now. Suppose to get over this afternoon and the sun comes out for days. You take care, too.
Blessings to you and yours,
Marilyn
Good Morning Vickie,
Glad you liked them. You, Mabel and Henry enjoy the day, too !
Marilyn and Pierre
Good Morning dynna,
Glad you like the pictures. Elmer's view is a little different than ours is sometimes. I am happy we made it through, too.
Hugs to you,
Marilyn
Hello Marilyn, why do I get the feeling Anna does a lot of groaning when Elmer is giving you directions. They must be such a joy to be around. Have a wonderful day! Cathy in Webster
Would Elmer steer you astray? Tom The Backroads Traveller
Hi Cathy,
Anna groans quite often. They are a joy together. Hope you have a wonderful tomorrow. The weather is suppose to be great !
Marilyn
Hi Tom,
On the road - yes.

These Elmer and Anna stories make me laugh! :) You might want to listen to Anna, Marilyn! She just might save you one of these days! ;)
I am curious, I noticed that some of the churches or meeting places you have had on have separate entrances for males/females. But, it appears that the school only has one entrance. Are the boys and girls separated inside once they enter or do they all sit mixed together? Does one group enter before the other? Or, does the separation start when they are older?
Good Morning Willow's Quiet Corner,
Oh, I do take Anna's advice sometimes. I believed she has saved us a couple of times.
Those are very good questions you asked. I will ask Elmer or Anna or Jean. Really don't know what they do at school regarding seating and entering the school.
Marilyn
