Here is the situation. My computer did not work all day yesterday. I couldn't get on it. Something was wrong with logon. Of course, my computer lady, is on vacation until April 24th. She deserves a vacation, believe me, but my computer always breaks down when she is on vacation. So I called and left a message on her cell phone.
When I didn't hear from her and I go crazy without my computer. I have one of those situations that it's not that I want to use my computer all the time, but to know I can use if I want to. So this morning, I decided I couldn't stand it any longer.
:I found directions and I don't know how I did it, but any way they said to go to the discs that came with computer and look for one that says repair. I have lots of discs, but no repair. On the computer I went to network. No luck. Finally I went to computer and fooled around in there. I don't know how I did it, but I got back on.
Now, here is how things are right now. Obviously I have it working. I don't know if I fixed and it will last or not. Now, if you don't hear or see anything from me, you know I'm off and am working on getting back on again.
I just found out that my computer lady is getting married this weekend and they are going on their Honey Moon. That is also why she took the vacation.

I think it's great that you got the computer back up - and hope - for your sake - it's going to hold. I know just what you mean about not using it all the time,but wanting it when you do want to use it. I communicate a lot via the computer and it is upsetting when things don't work.

It's so frustrating to want to use the computer and it doesn't work. So far so good. It's still working. What I worry about is when I shut it off tonight if I will be able to get it back on again.
