JEAN'S DINNER IN A DISH

JEAN'S DINNER IN A DISH

2 Tbsp margarine or butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion
salt and pepper
Dash of garlic powder
1 tsp granulated sugar
1 green pepper, chopped
1 can cream style corn
1 can pitted ripe olives, sliced
2 cups cooked spaghetti
1/4 can granulated Parmesan cheese
1 can tomato soup

Brown the ground beef slightly in margarine or butter.  Add the onion, chopped, salt and pepper, dash of garlic powder, sugar and chopped green pepper.  Saute.  Then add corn, olives, spaghetti, all but a small amount of Parmesan cheese (reserve some for top) and tomato soup.  Place in greased casserole, sprinkle top with reserved Parmesan cheese, and bake for 30 min at 350 degrees.

This looks great I would need to leave out the olives but I am sure it would still
be ok without them.

Please thank Jean for the recipe.

Good Morning fiona,

I like olives, but I know some people don't. In this recipe, I think you could delete the olives and maybe add something else. To me, I think this is a recipe you could play with.

Sounds good, but more importantly, I like your stove.

Good Morning MarkD60,
I took a picture of that stove in an antique store that was in our village. The store closed, but the stove stayed. When another store went in - they wanted the stove out. So the antique store next to them, moved over into their store. It is for sale, if someone comes up with the right price, but the people that own the store hope no one does. They have a section in their store of antique kitchen items and the stove fits right in there.
