JEAN'S CROCK POT VENISON (OR BEEF) STEW


 JEAN'S CROCK POT VENISON (OR BEEF) STEW

4 lbs venison, cut in cubes

2 stalks celery, cut up

6 carrots, cut up

1 onion, diced

1 green pepper, diced

2 14-oz cans stewed tomatoes

2 small cans, sliced mushrooms

1 Tbsp sugar

4 Tbsp tapioca

2 tsp salt

4 large potatoes, diced

Place all ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on slow.  Serve over rice or noodles.

I would use stewing beef.

You are welcome from Jean and myself. I should get making beef stew myself, but I make mine a little different than Jean does. l I do use the crock pot.
