I will see that Jean gets your message.

MarilynNew York State Of Mindhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01079961105585950354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4005870656044436056.post-84931263915596399452015-10-06T11:03:32.571-04:002015-10-06T11:03:32.571-04:00ThNks, Jean! We have born-again Christian friends in Alabama who dress plain; have sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, Guinea hens, rabbits. Paul shears the sheep and Angie cares for the wool by hand-the "old fashioned way". She does make items with it, and sells it also. They do many different Heritage craftings and encourage others to learn also. Jean told me when she was giving me the post that nothing is worse than not having enough fabric to make something. When you go back to the store and try to match it is never exactly the same color. So she buys extra just to make sure.

You are welcome,
MarilynNew York State Of Mindhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01079961105585950354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4005870656044436056.post-77298105692189605602015-10-06T08:50:23.361-04:002015-10-06T08:50:23.361-04:00Thanks Jean - sounds familiar, being careful to bu...Thanks Jean - sounds familiar, being careful to buy enough fabric, thread to do the job. And then to exchange as well.
I love to do counted cross stitch and needlepoint. To me it's so relaxing.
Thanks again,
Mary littlemancathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17042609230502564280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4005870656044436056.post-25616751934606267782015-10-06T08:50:00.979-04:002015-10-06T08:50:00.979-04:00Good Morning Angela,

I never learned to sew. You can always use it later. LOL

I think it is wonderful to pass down the skills of handwork. I only have a one child, a boy, but I taught him how to do a little sewing. I wouldn't always be there to put on that button!

Have a great day.Angela Tuckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02483920154677722934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4005870656044436056.post-9634247702646714012015-10-06T07:35:58.535-04:002015-10-06T07:35:58.535-04:00It's great to see that these skills are being ...It's great to see that these skills are being passed down.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04082494067802628837noreply@blogger.com
