JEAN'S RECIPES START TOMORROW

Just want to remind everyone that Jean's recipes start tomorrow.  I have them set to come at 7:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time.  There will be a different recipe every day from tomorrow, December 12th up to and including Christmas Eve.

On December 20th, Jean will have an introduction post along with a recipe.  If you are a reader of Amish and/or Mennonite novels-Jean thinks you will really like this recipe.  It's for something you see people eating in almost all the novels.  That's all I'm telling.

Also, Jean would like ideas for posts in the comments section.  She has had a few requests, which she will have posts on, but could use some more.  Sometimes Jean just doesn't know what you are interested in or want to know.  Her first weekly post starts on January 7th. 2013.

  1. Hi Everyone,
It is in the 30's here today and was suppose to snow last night, but it didn't - or if it did melted before morning. Don't want anyone to forget the recipes starting tomorrow.
Hope you all have a nice day,
    Marilyn

  2. Hi Marilyn. It might reach 30º today here. brrr!
I am curious as to whether Old Order Mennonite and/or Amish like house pets? I know they have barn cats. What about house cats? Or our personal favorite Marilyn,;), the poodles? Just kidding. I am wondering though.

  3. Hi Vickie,
Since I wrote the comment, it is snowing a little bit here. I will have Jean answer your question in one of her posts. One question I will answer is-they don't have a poodle. Their dog is just a different breed. Thank you for the question. Thank you for coming.

  5. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers-I really appreciate that. I thank Richard for a lot of what I know. Also just messing around has taught me a few things. I still have lots to learn. I keep telling Richard, I am so worried I am going to do the wrong thing and delete all of this. So far I haven't done that. Thank you for coming. Hope you enjoy the recipes that are starting tomorrow.

  7. Well, the snow we had stopped and it didn't leave anything. It's suppose to be back in the 50's in a day or two.
