There were questions on Jean's recipes and I can't get a hold of her on the phone.  I think it's because of her moving.  Anyway, I thought it best to change the recipe.  When Jean gets settled, we can work out the previous recipe and make it smaller. I apologize for any mistake I or Jean could have made.

Wow, a monster recipe for Monster Cookies!! They sound delicious. My boys are grown up and have houses of their own, so it's just my husbad and myself, and my 96 year old mom. But it would be great for holidays.

Good Morning Vickie and Doreen,
I think this is a large recipe, too. Jean makes this one for Susan at school, bake sales, etc.

Beautiful day today. Going to hit the 40's. Hope the sun comes out.

I checked Jean's future recipes and this is the only large recipe that she has on. The two coming in the next few weeks are for maybe 8 people. If you want recipes ask Jean for them and she will see if she has them.

Hello Marilyn Jean and all looking in
These sound good
It is always useful to have a large measure recipe
I don't think people should be put off trying this because of the quantities stated -it should be fairly simple to use a quarter of it-3 eggs -half a pound of brown sugar etc

Hello Fionalina,
You are right there. It could be cut into half or a quarter. I never thought of that.

Thank you for telling us,
Marilyn

I can't get a hold of Jean and there are questions on this recipe so I am going to pull it and put another one on. According to what I wrote it on-it is right, but I could have made a mistake when Jena gave it to me. So there is a different recipe coming on.

I changed the recipe. I can't even spell Jean's name right as my previous comment. Anyway I hope this one is easier to understand. Again, I apologize for any mistakes.

Thank you Cheryl for brining this to my attention. I don't know mistakes are there until someone tells me. I do check everything, but I do make mistakes.
Thanks much,
Marilyn
