  1. Good Morning,
Hope you enjoy this recipe. I had never heard of strawberry bread before.

Going out with Pierre this morning, he saw another dog and ran to the edge of his leash. I was closing the door at the time and got my hand caught. I have cuts on my hand and it hurts, but I will live.

Cooler today, but so far nice.

  2. I am sorry you got hurt that way Marilyn. Mabel and Henry get awful excited when they spot other dogs too.
I think it is so wonderful that Edward cooks. And very, very special that he is able to remember and use his grandmother's recipes.

  3. Thank you Vickie,
It still hurts. I got bandaids on it now. Pierre didn't mean to do it.

I think Edward is special, too. He is a great cook.

  4. How nice of Edward to pass this recipe along. I love strawberries and this bread sounds great. It's a beautiful cool day for a change today. Maybe I'll try this bread since turning on the oven won't make the house too hot.

I hope your hand is better Marilyn. How are Pierre's feet?

  5. This bread sounds wonderful! Hope to try it. Hope your hand heals quickly. My son has a dog that I walk, she gets into all kinds of escapades. Since I'm usually attached, seems like I go along whether I want to or not! Hope the rest of your week goes well!

  6. Hi Everyone,
Glad you like the bread. I will pass your comments on to Edward and Jean. My hand will heal-it just takes time. Pierre gets on all sorts of things on the leash. I try to remind him that I am on the other end of his leash.

I am enjoying the cooler weather.

  7. I just took the Strawberry Bread out of the oven a little while ago. I couldn't wait for it to cool so I tasted it warm and it's delicious!! Please tell Edward his recipe is wonderful. I didn't have any nuts and I had quite a few fresh blueberries, so I added a handful to the strawberries. It came out very good.
