This Amish Farm in these pictures is owned by a Swiss-German Amish family. Some of these people moved to this area from Indiana and Michigan several years ago. They do not have indoor plumbing, electric or telephones. As you can see, when I drove by, this man was putting siding on his house in December. I have more pictures of Amish Farms to put on.
ANOTHER SWISS-GERMAN AMISH FARM IS COMING ON JANUARY 24th.

Good morning Marilyn,
I have been by this farm many times and remember when they were building the barn a few years back.

Hi Tom,
Hey time, I want to ask you something. I am putting some pictures on of the Amish school near Lyons, next week. I was wondering if it would be okay to send my people over to your blog so they can see it under construction?

Very interesting - thank you again for the photos and explanations.
Good Morning ga447,
You are most welcome. Glad you enjoy the pictures.

What a great barn. The house is nice too, and quite large.
Thanks for the nice pictures.

Hello Doreen,
You are most welcome for the pictures. Glad you like them.

Went out in Jean's area to take some winter pictures. Those back roads weren't plowed as much as the main highways. I wouldn't do that again. Hope to have a post on tomorrow of the farms in the snow.
