MY UNUSUAL COLOR SUNFLOWER

I usually don't do two posts in one day, but this sunflower came in full bloom this morning.  Never before had I seen a sunflower this color.  It is one of the flowers a neighbor planted for me.  I wanted to show it off.

    Hi Marilyn, I have seen dark red sunflowers like this beauty before. In my yesterday's flower post there are two sunflowers that the owner told me seeded themselves and are hybrids. Flowers are like people, they are all different. Tom The Backroads Traveller

    Aren't they beautiful ? I had never seen them in this color before. I didn't know that you could go to the store and buy sunflower seeds in different colors until the man that planted mine showed me.
