MY AFRICAN VIOLETS ARE BLOOMING AGAIN !!!

My African Violets didn't bloom all this winter so I was surprised last Saturday when they started  blooming.  They have lots more flowers coming.  Thought I would take these pictures so you could see them. These are the first that I have ever bought and lived.  They are in my kitchen window.  Looking for a small stand so I could put them in front of my sliding glass door.  Would get more light there.  If the stand was big enough, I would buy some more African Violets.  Seeing they started blooming last week, I take these flowers as an Easter Present from God.

  3. Good Morning Anonymous,

Thank you. They are shiny. These are the first African Violets that I have still alive. I had so many die on me. I don't know how these are surviving but they are.

    Happy Easter to you,
    Marilyn

  7. Good Morning Lily,
I don't know how these African Violets I have are blooming, I had so many before these that died. My aunt to raise these and neither my Mother or myself could. For some reason these are not only living but blooming.

    Happy Easter,

  8. Good morning, Marilyn. Beautiful! I am very jealous. LOL I just had to throw away a "crunchy" African violet. I'm pretty sure it was a goner. LOL

  9. Good Morning Angela,
So sorry you had to throw away your African Violet. Sorry it was a goner. I had to do that, too. I think the good Lord keeps these two going.

    Happy Easter,
    Marilyn

  10. Marilyn....Your violets are obviously very healthy and happy where they are! I would not move them to another spot unless it is a spot with the same level of light - too much light for violets is not good either and the leaves get a paler green as a result. My violets started blooming too and I think you are right that God sends us these blooms as an encouragement that Spring is coming! Happy Easter to you all.....Chris

  11. Hello Carol,
The problem in the kitchen is I have to walk there to see them. Would like them out in the living room where I could see them more often. So glad your violets started blooming too. So glad God sent yours and mine, too. Spring to coming.

Happy Easter to you and yours,
    Marilyn
