This story is kind of funny at one house. An Old Order Mennonite lady was mowing her lawn and asked why I was taking her picture. It took me a minute to realize that she thought I was taking her picture. I explained it was not her I was taking a picture of, but her laundry. She said MY LAUNDRY and we both started to laugh. She said go ahead, take all the pictures I want. So I did along with some other Old Order Mennonites and Amish.
At some places every day is laundry day, but Sunday.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Tom,
ReplyDeleteYou are right, there.

I still hang out my laundry. I put in dryer for a few minutes to fluff it up. My son also hangs out his. The other two kids think we are crazy.

Good Morning Jodie,
ReplyDeleteI wish there was a place I could hang my laundry outside. It just smells and feel so much fresher when hung outside than in the dryer.

That is a funny story Marilyn. Nice orange border to the blog for fall. Glad to see Pierre up top also. ;)
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Vickie,
ReplyDeleteI think that lady thought I was nuts. Glad you like the border. It took some doing, but I got Pierre back on the corner.
Hugs to Mable, Henry and Murphy,
Marilyn and Pierre
