A friend of mine wanted me to put these pictures on here, so here they are. The top two butterfly pictures were handmade for her by a friend. The third one is one my friend made herself. The last was done by an artist friend of hers. She said she liked it, so for her birthday, her friend gave it to her.

It was once a Chinese custom (do not know if it still is) that if
ReplyDeletesomeone admired something in your home, you were obligated to gift
it to them at some time... I often think this is a lovely way to assure that something you treasure will be treasured by another.
