At the African Violet show last April, these show African Violets used in art. Its a wonder, to me, what people can do with plants especially African Violet
Interesting! Breadsticks and pasta! Who would have thought! The third one is perhaps my favorite, 'though I wonder if that broken off leaf on the left is really supposed to be there? Mary
Wonderful! I have a violet that looks just like the last picture (although it is not "arranged") and it is such a vibrant color. Doesn't it seem like these violets work overtime to provide us with such beautiful blooms with such minimal foliage? Thank you for sharing. Chris
Good Morning Mary, I don't think the broken leaf was suppose to be there. A lot of people go through the show and maybe someone felt it and broke it. They also have people who try to steal a leaf off the plant so they can go home and try to start their own. They do have security, but even they can't be everywhere.
Good Morning Chris, Your African Violet must be beautiful, too Oh, I agree with you that the violets provide us with such beauty. They aren't really hard to take care of, at least for me
...beautiful arrangements!
ReplyDeletevery creative the first one the violet is such a lovely colour, maybe it is just me
ReplyDeleteis there some pasta in the first photo Marilyn?
Those pictures are beautiful. The first picture looks like they have worked chopsticks into it.
