CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS - PART 2














In the last picture, you can see what the final glass item that was made.  The day was in the 90's and a lot of people that were to come - didn't show up.  I tossed the idea back and forth and decided to go and I am glad I did.  The demonstration lasted about 45 minutes.  I had seen glass made before at their factory in Corning, NY, but that was long ago.

  3. It's quite a process. I've seen it done before, but the object being made was smaller than that.
