  3. Hi Marilyn, just a wee tad of information for you. Family Day is not a federal holiday in Canada as it is observed in 6 provinces only. I'm in one of those 6 that celebrate it. None of our territories observe it. In Manitoba it's called Louis Riel Day while in Nova Scotia it's Nova Scotia Heritage Day. Canadian greetings to you.

  5. Here on Family Day, I spent the better part of the day asleep after a bad overnight. I'd meant to get out to photograph an event, and woke up in total darkness.

    I had two of my friends pass one right after another and I took them real hard. I plan to be back on, hopefully, on Monday. I do not plan on leaving. Hope to he here for a long time.
