MR. AND MRS. MARTIN.S STAND AT THE FARMER'S MARKET, NEWARK, NY

Mr. and Mrs. Martin were set up at the Farmer's Market in Newark, New York.  They are Weaverland Mennonite so they can drive cars.  The first picture is of their van.  I liked the way it was set up to hold their cargo in the back.  Next pictures show their baked and canned goods.  Then are their home grown plants and vegetables for sale.  The last two are the items I bought.  There were more Whoopie Pies, but I ate two on the way home.  Pie I got was a small one.  They also have sugar free pies there.  The Millers are an older couple and live in Clyde, New York.  She must bake all week to have all these items ready to sell.  Maybe she has help.  I have purchased from them for a few years and her baked goods are delicious.

  2. Oh, I love whoopie pies! I would have been tempted to buy one of everything. When is the farmer's market in Newark and are they there every week? Cool day here in western New York! Cathy in Webster

  3. Hi Cathy,
The Farmers Market is in the park on Main Street in downtown Newark on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 in the afternoon. They are there every week until the end of October. There are lots of other Farmers there too mostly selling fruits and vegetables. The Martin's are the only bakery folks there.
