The first three pictures are of an Amish Farm. In picture two, if you look real close, you can see two Amish children. The last three pictures, I believe are of an Old Order Mennonite house and buggy that I came across driving around.
It doesn't look good for being Amish or Mennonite. I took the last two pictures in South Sodus, New York. Maybe someone just bought the buggy and put it out front as a decoration. I don't know.
Well, no matter who owns it, it is obvious it needs work. Hopefully it will be cared for nicely. -8 right now. Looks like we'll be getting more snow from tomorrow through Tues. Off to our Ladies Bible Study. Bundle up everyone! Blessings, Carol
Good Morning Carol, When Spring comes, I will have to take a ride out there again and see if they paint the house. We will be getting now, too. In fact we are getting some right now. Hope you enjoy your Ladies Bible Study.
Hi Folks, Well, I got the car back this morning and everything is fine now. Also got the big bill to go with it, but it is less than some others would have charged. Forgot to take my gloves and my hands almost froze on the way back.
In the last photos a paint job is in order. Most Old Order Mennonite homes in the area are better cared for. Tom The Backroads Traveller
