DID IT SNOW IN OUR VILLAGE ?????

Thought you would enjoy some pictures of the snow we had.  The first three pictures were on Main Street.  I wanted the cars in the third picture so you could see how the snow piles were.  Fourth picture is one of the side streets.  The next tractor is moving the snow so they can have more room for future snow that should be coming.  Next picture I took through by windshield of one of the Village's salt trucks.  The last two pictures are of snow piles in our village.

NOTE:
Grandmother Olive and Grandfather Albert arrived at Pinecraft about 6:00 PM last night.  They had dinner at Bishop Eli's parents along with Eli's and Elmer's sons and daughter in laws.  The cottage they are staying in has just been remodeled so it is like new and beautiful.  Grandmother and Grandfather thank you for your thoughts and concern.

  3. So happy that they've made it safe and sound! I like snow from a distance. LOL My son is in Iowa and has been getting snow for several days. He's a California boy but is hanging in there. I think I would have already headed home.

  4. Glad to hear everyone arrived in Florida safe and sound. I love the snow, but I must admit I love it more now that I am retired and don't have to go out and drive in it in order to get to work. Definitely is beautiful. The cold we have been having is another story though. Stay safe and warm everyone. Cathy in Webster

I feel sorry for your son being in the snow. If I could, I would head for Florida.

  9. Good Morning Vanssmomc,
I must agree, now that I don't have to work and drive through it every day it doesn't bother me as much as it use to.
    It is pretty.

You stay safe and warm, too,

  12. Hi Folks,
Got the news on the car. It's a lot, but not as much as it could be. If I can scrape up the money, I should be able to pick it up tomorrow. It's at the best garage so I know he's not pulling a fast one.

  13. Marilyn, snow is pretty, I miss it sometimes, but don't think I could live in it again!

Glad to hear Grandmother Olive and Grandfather Albert arrived safe and sound! But, sorry to hear about your car. It is nice you have a dependable mechanic, though. I've been taken before and it's miserable. I also have a great mechanic now.

  14. Good Morning Willow's Quiet Corner,
Glad you like the pictures. Snow is hard to live in sometimes

I am glad they arrived safe and sound, too. Right now I have two dependable mechanics so I have been lucky. The one I used this time towed the car so I let him do it. He doesn't charge for the tow job if he does the work on the car.
