OLD ORDER MENNONITE FARM AND EQUIPMENT

Must be enjoying our birthday, too much - I almost forgot to put a post for today on.  Slipping up on my job.  This is a Old Order Mennonite Farm.  What I like is the farming equipment they use.

NOTE:
I was corrected.  This is an Old Oder Mennonite not a Weaverland Mennonite farm like I originally had .

  1. Good morning Marilyn! Love the pics, just curious though, a question for Elmer I guess, why no rubber treads on the farm equipment? Have a wonderful day! Cathy in Webster

  10. Hi Angela,
Glad you like the pictures. Send us some heat !!!!!! It's going down to the 40's tonight. I do like the green grass, though.

  11. I beg to differ. I don't think this a Weaverland Conference Mennonite farm...they have rubber tires. I'm guessing this is Old Order Mennonite, possibly of the Groffdale Mennonite Conference. My grandparents and many of my uncles/aunts/cousins are still of that church. I also have numerous relatives with the Weaverland Conf. Mennonites. I enjoy your blog. :-)

  13. Good morning Marilyn. Sister and I had a beautiful fall scenery trip and it is good to be home again. Catching up on my favorite blog today! Love your photos of sunsets and the farm. Must admit I didn't catch the steel tires til I read comments. Then I enjoyed the photos again to check them out closer. I so enjoyed reading how you met Jean and David. I'd say that was a real blessing in disguise. I hope you and Pierre are having a colorful fall weekend. Hugs on you both!

Hope you had a great trip. It's always nice to leave, but it is better when you get home. Glad you love the photos. Meeting Jean that way was a real blessing in disguise. We always say we met by accident. Hope you are having a colorful weekend, too.

    Hugs to you,
