DUE TO JEAN-CHANGES COMING UP !!!!

Due to unforseen changes in Jean and her families life, we have to change some things on New York State of Mind.  The recipes will continue every day up to including December 24th.  On December 20th, Jean will have her introduction with a recipe.  December 22nd-she will have a post with a recipe explaining her changes.  On December 24th, Martha is going to introduce herself to you with a recipe.

It is nothing bad that has caused these changes-in fact-it is something good. This just came up at a not too good time.   It will be explained in the post.  Jean IS NOT leaving us, although she has asked Martha to do a few posts for her, as needed, during the month of January-maybe a week or two during February.  Martha has agreed.

Jean has asked me not to tell you what it is until she does the post.  So, as I did with Richard, I will not tell, but it is good news.

I hope you understand and can go along with these changes. They are just for the next month or so-then things will return to normal again-she hopes.  As Jean would say:

Be With God,
Marilyn

Jean told me about this when I was at her house yesterday. We talked it over there and on the phone last night how we should handle this. We both believe this would be the easiest way. As I said it is not bad news. It just wasn't a good time, but Jean and her family will go do what they have to do. As there may be times when Jean can't leave a post - she asked Martha if she would fill in-which she agreed too. This is just for a month or so.

Well if is is a good change then I guess we will just have to wait and read what is happening in her life when the time is right. I have to admit I am curious but rest in knowing that good things come to those who are of good heart. I am enjoying the recipes Marilyn and look forward to the others that will be coming. So I am curious what most people will be doing for the holidays this year. Any special traditions some may want to share also. I went to my first Christmas reflections night at our the church our boys are now fellowshipping at and it was a blessing to listens to others share some of their Christmas memories. I was especially drawn to the older ones who shared what they received as children and how our children today get far more than needed. We are trying to teach our grandchildren that getting all kinds of things is not necessary but giving to others that is a real blessing. Your doing a great job Marilyn. God Bless veronica

If I had my way, I would tell, but Jean asked me to wait. I think that is wonderfull what your church boys did. Also glad that you are teaching your grandchildren so well. Some people aren't and it is sad. They should know the true reason for Christmas. I am trying to do a good job, but I have to get use to some of these things.
God Bless you and yours,Veronica,
Marilyn

Yes, Richard, now it's your turn not to tell. There is only one person I would want to win the lottery more than you and that's me. Sadly that hasn't come to be for me either.
Good Evening, Richard,
Marilyn
