MARTHA'S LAZY DAY LASAGNE

MARTHA'S LAZY DAY LASAGNE - Serves 4

6 oz lasagne noodles
1/4 tsp dried oregano
2 cups (16 oz) spaghetti sauce with meat (can also add extra cooked hamburger
1 Cup small curd cottage cheese
1 (6 oz) package sliced Mozzarella cheese

Cook noodles in salted water according to directions on box-drain noodles.  Mix oregano with the spaghetti sauce.  Grease 10" x  6"  x 1 1/2" baking dish (or something close) with Crisco.  Layer noodles on bottom, then cottage cheese, then cheese slices, then sauce.  Repeat.  Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes.  A little more is okay.  Let it stand outside oven 10 minutes before cutting and serving. .

Hope you enjoy it.  I serve this would a tossed salad and garlic or italian bread.

Be With the Lord,
Martha

Good Morning,
Hope you enjoy Martha's recipe. We are getting some beautiful weather in New York State. Suppose to rain, but if that is all we get-I'm happy. Friday, the library that Jean and her children go to is on and Monday, Martha answering your courting and buggy questions. A week from Friday is special because that is the day, Jean made her first post on Amish Stories and kept on going. She will have been with Amish Stories and New York State of Mind two years. Also, I have something on for Kentucky Derby Day. So we have some interesting things coming up.

This sounds like a nice easy recipe. It will be interesting to try the cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese. Thank you for posting it.

Martha's recipe sounds great. She should also try the no boil lasagne. It saves from boiling, Barila brand makes a good one.

Hi Linda,
If you haven't found your cross stitch pattern for your black poodle, let me know at: lincolnlady1121@yahoo.com I have a friend of mine that does cross stitch and has lots of books. I can have her look it up and see if she has one for you. She has done plastic canvas on the poodle of mine that passed away. I have now have another poodle and she is making me a plastic canvas for him.
