MAYBE THESE WILL COOL YOU DOWN !!!!!

Thought seeing this snow might cool us down.  While we are in the 90's to over 100 degrees, in some areas, this might remind us of what will be coming in few months.  I took these pictures last February.

I HAVE ANOTHER POST ON TOMORROW MORNING SHOWING PICTURES OF PROGRESS SINCE OUR VILLAGE FIRE LAST MAY.

Just thought I would put this on to maybe cool us down a little.

Rained this morning, but stopped. Suppose to rain until about noon time. Still in the 80's.

Pretty, pretty pictures. We began to cool a bit last night. Now it will be in the 90's.

Hi Vickie,
Glad you like the pictures. We are in the 70's, but are suppose to go to the 80's or 90's. Tomorrow we should be in the 70's. Give Mabel and Henry a hug from Pierre and myself.

What a great idea for a posting today. To think that it was just 5 short months ago when these pictures were taken. A few years ago we had a freak snow storm in the middle of October and we got 12". That's less than 3 months from now!! I absolutely love the North East for the change of seasons, but I wish the winter was a little bit shorter. The October storm was an unusual event though. We typically don't get much snow until December, and even then, we don't always have snow for Christmas.

Hi Doreen,
Glad you liked my idea. I remember when we had snow in May, a couple of times, too. I also remember the snow in October. I like all the seasons, but the winter. I wish it were shorter. I agree with you, we usually don't get heavy snow until December or after. I wish we would get snow on Christmas Eve and melt December 26th - and that's all the winter. LOL

Marilyn, my e-mail is giving me fits!! I'll be in touch with you tomorrow for sure...don't worry! We had another big storm pass thru tonight...another gully washer..lots of lightening...we are in our tornado season now..so every storm is a little worse than the last!! LOL! Our neck of the woods does not get a tornado very often..every 40 or so years..but we sure get the rain and wind!!

Hi Sue Ann,
I know you will come through - you always do. We had rain with thunder and lightening, too. We haven't had a tornado hit us in a long time, but they have hit down state a year or so ago.
