AMANDA GRABER'S RAG RUGS

I went to Amanda Graber's today and purchased two of her rag rugs-one for someone that ordered one and one for myself.  When I got home, I measured mine and it is 20 1/2 inches high and 31 inches wide.  After I purchased the two, they brought out more rag rugs for me to take pictures of to give you an idea of the colors that she has made.  They are machine washable as I asked the Graber's.  One of the people that comments on here said they are afraid it would slide on their tile floor.  I put mine on my new kitchen floor and it doesn't slide, but I don't know about someone else's.

Each rug is $20.00 plus $10.00 postage for a total of $30.00.  I will take Pay Pal or POSTAL MONEY ORDER.  I will not accept any other money orders or personal checks, I am sorry.  All of the $20.00 I get goes to the Graber's and the $10.00 for postage.  I make nothing on this.  I am not even taking anything out for gas.

Also, regarding the Miller's Bake sale that was on July 12th - the pink quilt is still for sale for $100.00.  The blue one has been sold.  It is a child's crib quilt, but could be used as a lap quilt. I would like $10.00 for postage on that one, too.  All of the $100.00 goes to Mrs. Miller.  Again, I will only take Pay Pal or POSTAL MONEY ORDER.  I make nothing on this.  I am not even taking anything out for gas.

Both Amanda Graber and Mrs. Miller are Amish.  They hand make these items.  So if you are interested in any of these items, please contact me on: lincolnlady1121@yahoo.com.

If you know someone that likes Amish items-please pass this on. Also, these would be a great gift for someone.

I always put one of those rubberized shelf liners under my rugs in the kitchen - they don't slide.

Hi Bonnie,
That's a great idea. Thank you for telling us.

I like the shelf liner idea!

I was going to post that hardware stores sell "rug tape" that does the same thing -- goes under rugs to keep them from sliding on tile, etc.

Hello Matt,
I like your idea, too. Maybe I better put something on mine to be on the safe side. Thank you for telling us.

You have created a new job for yourself!!! Personal shopper! You would be great doing that!
You had better use something under the rug..the rubber shelf liner is a good idea, I use that, and it is washable too.....better safe than sorry.
