Mom said I can tell you about the Pirates Weekend dog parade even though she has lots of pictures of things that happened before this The top picture she put on my Pirates outfit so it would show in the front, but she did turn it around correctly for the dog parade.
I was in the front of the parade because I bark at other dogs. So they figure if I was up front and couldn't see the rest of the dogs, I wouldn't bark at them. A friend of my Mom's, Fran, took the pictures of all of us dogs in the parade. I wasn't happy when I saw picture nine where a boxer was kissing my girlfriend, Lily. I did get some dog chews and doggie cookies, but didn't win a trophy like the first three winners did. The chihuahua in picture six won third prize. In picture five, the greyhound won second prize and the other dog one first prize.
I felt bad I didn't win a trophy, but Mom said she didn't care what the judges said, I was number one with her. Then she took me to the Wayne County Humane Society booth and bought two new doggie toys as my trophy. They made me very happy.
After the dog parade, we saw this lady leading the horse near where the vendors were. Mom snapped the picture. I know a horse is not a dog, but thought that you would appreciate the horse picture. Next month during Canal Town Days, we have a horse parade that Mom hopes to get pictures of.
Mom will have more posts coming up on Pirates Weekends. There are things going on tomorrow, that Mom will take pictures of, too. Also, Monday starts our Wayne County Fair which is also held in our village. I am sure Mom will have posts on that too.
Well, hope you enjoyed the dog parade.
Love to all,
Pierre

Oh Pierre! I did enjoy this very much. You look adorable in your pirate outfit.♥
Thank you so much, Vickie. I felt dumb in it, but I know we dogs have to do this to please our Mom's. Give a hug to Mable and Henry from Marilyn and me.
Love to all,
Pierre
What cure pictures Pierre. You look adorable, but I think your mom would have looked cute in a pirate outfit too.
For a small town, you have a lot of fun activities. I'd love to see pictures of the horse parade.

Hi Doreen,
My Mom said she wouldn't dress like that unless they paid her. I think she should pay me !!!
The horse parade will be in September and they come right in front of where we live. I have to remind Mom to make sure the camera batteries are charged so she gets all the horse and buggies.
Love to all,
Pierre
Oh Pierre, you cutie you! But I have to admit, the look on your face tells it all......! You love your mom enough to let her dress you up! Love that expression!
Thank you for calling me cute, Sue Ann. My Mom makes me do things like this. She says I have to wear that outfit for Halloween, too.
Love to all,
Pierre
