PIRATES WEEKEND-PART 1

I am going to have to do this in three parts as I just can't fit everything on one.  So there will be another post tomorrow and one Saturday.  Our pirate flag is in many places of our village.  The ship is the Lois McClure, which I will tell you about in another post.  Because of her, our Pirates Day was founded and she is our Pirate Ship.

Our activities started on Friday evening with  a movie in the park.  On Saturday morning, the runners were the first activity.  Later in the morning, we had our parade down Main Street.  We had two bands, one made up of adults and children.  The other is our Renegade Band which was founded in our town.  Renegade Band's members are dressed as Pirates and perform in parades around New York State. In between the parade and our bed race,  we had dancing in the street.  Pirates here, pirates there, pirates everywhere.    Then we had our bed races down Main Street.

Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you enjoy our Pirates Weekend. The sun is out, but it is a little cool right now. Suppose to be in the 70's today.
