JEAN'S RECIPES FOR CHILDREN & ADULTS, TOO

PIZZA PUPS

Hot dogs
Pizza sauce
Hot dog Buns
Mozzarella Cheese

Heat hot dogs through.  Put a tablespoon of pizza sauce on each bun.  Put hot dog on the sauce.  Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.  Heat at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.

PEANUT BUTTER RICE KRISPIE BARS

1 cup Karo syrup or honey
1 cup peanut butter
1 c sugar
6 cups Rice Krispies

Boil together the Karo or honey and sugar.  Then add and melt peanut butter. Then add Rice Krispies and mix well.  Pour into well greased 9x13" pan.  Press firmly.  Cut when cool.

Now that it's time for children to go back to school, I thought I would put on a couple of recipes that they would enjoy.  Of course adults may enjoy them, too.

Be With God,
Jean

I read Amish America every day and they have a very interesting subject on today. If you get a chance, go over and take a look.

Simple fun recipes. The hotdog one might be good with pepperoni or slices of sausage on top :)

Hi Christine T,

Thank you for your comments. I will pass your idea on to Jean.

Tomorrow will be the post regarding the dog breeding facility for 600 dogs. There was originally a post about this on Amish Stories, but I haven't been able to find it yet. It goes back a year or so.

This post tells how it started and what happened. It is a long post with both Jean and Elmer on it.

I made the hotdogs last night adding the pepperoni. They were great - my daughter loved them.
