I got a call from Elmer. His son came home and told him that I was having Mennonite week next week. Elmer's son had been on our blog at the library. Elmer wants to know when I am going to Amish week. I had a feeling this was coming. I told Elmer I didn't think I had enough pictures. Elmer told me to head his way next time I had enough gas in the car and he would show me Amish places to take pictures of. He was laughing, but I think he was serious. I told him that was fine with me. I would love to go to some Amish places and get pictures.

Elmer seems like a very happy go lucky person. I hope he takes you to some interesting places. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.

Hi Doreen,
Yes, Elmer is happy go lucky although he and Anna have had some sad things in their life like most of us. I probably won't get there until December and can't wait to see what he comes up with, too.

Great pictures Marilyn. I am just catching up on the blog. I have been running back and forth to the hospital with my father. He was very sick with pneumonia. He just came home a few days ago. It is alot as you know taking care of sick parents but I am thankful to be able to. I hope you are doing well. The blog is my happy place to go to when I am feeling not sure of things. So thanks for yours and everyone else faithfulness to write. You are always in my prayers and tell Jean I continue to pray for her family also. I hope you are having a good weekend. God Bless Veronica
