SAUDERS - COUNTRY STORE - PART 2

Sauders pictures show some of the food items sold in the store.  If you need some pots, pans, cooking or baking dishes or canning equipment, - this is the place.

When ever I go into this store, I think back to the Andy Griffith show that was on TV in 1960's and is on reruns today.  I always think this is the store that Aunt Bee would go shopping in.

Sauders post 3 will be on tomorrow showing handmade wood items, and their bookstore.

Good Morning Everyone,

Thank you all, again, for the many Birthday wishes you gave me. It was so kind of you. My celebrating isn't over yet, as I am going over to my best friends house for dinner tonight,

Hope you enjoy this post today and there is one tomorrow.

Hi Marilyn, Margo, fellow RN, put me on to Sauder's years ago, and I would go there often. Since we moved nearly 5 yrs ago, it would take me nearly 5 hrs one-way to get there now. When I do get "home"(Onondaga County area), I try to go out to the store when I can. I encourage all who are relatively close to Seneca Falls to stop in and enjoy all they have to offer!
Take care, stay warm, and be good!(what else is there? ;) LOL) Blessings, Carol

love it. I would drive there but over 4 hours is a bit much. Might be worth a weekend trip though once I was done spending in the market I wouldnt have any $$ left for a motel! hehehe

Good Morning Carol,
Thank you for the compliments on Sauder's. My cousin drove the first time I went there, so I had to find it on my own. Now that I know how to get there it is about an hour away from where I live. I really enjoy going there.

You take care, too, and try to stay warm.

Blessings,
Marilyn

Good Morning Christine T,
It would be a nice weekend trip. Seneca Falls is a quaint little town. There are many other places to see while you are there, too. Mennonite and Englisher. In Waterloo, which is right next door, are some more Mennonite stores, but I have to go find them. I don't know exactly where they are. I will see if I can get pictures of them and put them on here. It may not be until spring as I dont drive to far in the snow.

The shelves look jam packed with interesting things. It would be fun to see the unique items they have to offer. I'm looking forward to seeing the wood items and bookstore.

I'm glad to hear that the party continues. Have fun!
