PIERRE'S "THE BARK"

I would like to thank everyone for the many Happy Birthday's I received yesterday.  It was so very kind of you to remember me.  I had a great birthday.  My Mom sang Happy Birthday to me and gave me presents.  Then Lily, my girlfriend, and her Mother came over and brought me more gifts.  My Mom also promised me that when the Dunkin Donuts opens, she will take me there.  I love donut wholes.

With Christmas coming, humans remember other humans which they should.  But please remember dogs, cats, birds and more.  If you are giving someone a basket for Christmas, and they have a pet, please slip in some food for their pet.  Maybe you could slip a little toy for the pet, too.  If people are having a hard time paying for their food, they are having a hard time paying for pet food, too.  Should you have some extra money, maybe you could give a gift certificate to the vet's to have the pet checked out.  If you have large extra money, maybe a gift certificate to get the pet their shots or neutered.

Also, please remember the pets that are in the Humane Society or alike waiting for a home.  They would like food and toys for Christmas, too.  People sometimes forget to give to them during the Christmas Season.

Maybe while you are there you will see a dog, cat, bird, etc. that would be a great addition to your family.  Even adult dogs could use a home.  Mom got me at three on Craig's List and I came trained, neutered, and with lots of love to give.  I know there are more pets that would just love a home.

Money is tight, I and Mom know it, but you don't have to go to expensive stores to buy food or toys.  You can go to Family Dollar or Dollar General Store to buy some foods and toys.  I know some people can't afford to do this, but if you can, please help the humans and pets.  This is more or less what I said last year at this time, but I don't want pets to be forgotten.

LOVE,
PIERRE

Good Morning Everyone,
Pierre had to get on the computer this morning and with a great cause. We know some people cant' afford to do this, but some of us can, even if it is just a couple of dollars for a toy.

Good Morning Vickie,
Thank you for the compliments on the outfit Mom made me wear. Mom and I are so glad we prompted you into getting Henry. He couldn't have a better home with so much love. Even Mabel accepted him, which was important.

Love,
Pierre and Marilyn

Mom put the same comment on twice so I had to make her delete one of them.

How cute you are Pierre! It sounds like you had a wonderful birthday.

Thank you for reminding me to help out the pet owners in need. The Holidays remind us to open our hearts, and we shouldn't forget about the rest of the year too.

Good Morning Doreen,
I did have a wonderful birthday.

I agree with you, we should remember to open our hearts all year not only humans but pets, too.

Love,
Pierre

Jean and I are starting Christmas Recipe a day a day early. It took until this evening for it to dawn on Jean and I that she has a recipe on December 11th. Seeing she does we will start on December 11th. That gives one more recipe on the Christmas Recipe a day. Every day there is one of the regular posts, there will be a recipe at the bottom. It really took Susan to figure this out for us.
