UNUSUAL COW SCENE - TO ME ANYWAY

I think this cow area is unusual.  Cows look like they are enjoying themselves.  Took these in an Old Order Mennonite and Amish area.

The cows look like they're enjoying the warmer Spring weather, but the Spring also brings mud. I don't think they care though.

Any idea what the tower in the pond is?

Good Morning Doreen,

I don't think the cows cared about mud either.

I don't have any idea what that tower in the pond is for. I was wondering that myself.

I got a hold of Elmer and sent the picture to his son's computer at his store. Elmer thinks the tower is a water pump. He feels it is pumping the water from the pond to the barn, but he isn't sure. It could also be visa versa pumping the water from the barn to pond. He and Anna were with when I took the pictures. The reason I took them was because of that tower.

Hi Marilyn, Pierre & Everyone,

That tower is very unusual! First thing I thought of was a lifeguard tower of some sort but then seeing the hose at the base, I think Elmer is right about it being a water pump of sorts. Very interesting! Thank you for sharing!

Hi Laura,

I think Elmer is right, too. He said next time we go out there he is going to walk up to it and take a look. But, I agree with you, I think he's right.

You are most welcome.

Hello Folks,

I have been taking pictures for a special post that will be on next Friday and Saturday. Of course, I took the pictures in the rain.

Still waiting to see who is going to the post for this coming Monday.
