CROSS CREEK CHURCH (METHODIST), PALMYRA, NEW YORK

Cross Creek church is the newest church in Palmyra.  The church was started in the building in pictures two and three.  After they out grew that building, they built the bigger church, that is in the rest of the pictures.  The opening picture is in front of the new church.  Cross Creek is Methodist Church.  I believe the building they started in is now used for religious courses in their church.

It's interesting that some faiths are outgrowing their building and have to build larger churches, while other faiths are rapidly closing their doors.

I'm off to the historic Hull House in Lancaster NY to demonstrate spinning. They have a Heritage Arts Fair today with all kinds of demonstrations like candle making, blacksmithing, broom making, and live music all day. It looks like a beautiful day, but a hot one.

Good Morning Doreen,
From what I have heard, this church is more a more progressive church. They have a band at their services, casual dress, etc.

They wanted to either join with the United Methodist Church on the four church corners or buy their church, the people there move to another church. That did not go over well. So Cross Creek ended building the new big church and United Methodist still have their church.

Would love to go where you are going today. Hope you have a great time. Try to stay as cool as you can, but I don't know with as hot it is suppose to get.
