FARM WITH THE RED ROOF BARM

Elmer and Anna were with me when we came across this farm.  We don't know if it is Old Order Mennonite as it is in that area or Englisher which it might be because of the red roof.  Elmer says Amish and Old Order Mennonites usually don't have red roofs.  Thought you might like the horses, too.

I love how the barn looks with a red roof.

Also love the look of the barn. My husband and I are always so sad when we see a barn that is in desparate need of repair. My husband has "barn envy" since we don't have enough land for a big barn, nice to see one very well taken care of. Cathy in Webster

I love barns. It breaks my heart to see one torn down or fall apart. That is a beauty. I do enjoy the horse pictures.
Hug Pierre for me. :)

Good Morning Cathy,

It is sad to see a barn in need of desparate repair. The sad part is there are a lot of them around. Sorry you husband can't have a big barn.

Good Morning Vickie,
Maybe I should do a post just on barns one day. Great thing when the Amish or Old Order Mennonite move in an area they sometimes buy farms in disrepair - then fix them up and live there. They improves the farming area.

The farm and that barn are beautiful. Your new camera is doing well. I love old barns too. Can't resist one if I have my camera with me.

Went out today to take pictures, but
didn't find anything to take pictures of. I did go and see Elmer and Anna's new house and greenhouse. Had lunch at their house.

Hi Carol,
It was nice going through their new house, barn and her greenhouse. Anna likes everything in her new house. We ate off her new kitchen set. I love their master bedroom set. Their living room is beautiful too.
