At the top were some of the people of our Nutrition Lunch Group. Instead of having lunch in our building that day, we went to the fair. Below are some of the restaurant's at the fair. I know you don't eat at the jewelry place, but they were right in the middle of the restaurants. We had a good time and we ate well. Next week will be the quilts.

Good Morning Doreen,
We did have a lot of fun that day for being a group of old folks.
It's getting better slow but sure. Thank you.

I know some people were upset last year that I didn't put anything on for 9-11 and so am I. It had just slipped my mind. Today I made up the 9-11 post for this year. I did it ahead so I wouldn't forget to do it this year. How I could forget such a day as that, I don't know, but I did. So there will be a special post on September 11th.

Marylin.....
I live near the coast and the town has a boardwalk that has many places like this that serve food very similar to "fair food"....We are fortunate enough to be able to go there frequently. Funny, though, we mostly go there when we have company since that is a much requested spot for them. Something about eating that food in the salt air - makes your mouth water!
Thanks! Chris
Hi Chris,
I have some friends that live near Atlantic City and I have gone there with them. You are right there is something about salt water that makes your mouth water - and makes you hungry, too.
Marilyn
Chris - do they have salt-water taffy in that area? Can't pass up salt-water taffy... that's an icon.
Hi Bonnie C and Chris,
I love salt water taffy, too. At Christmas I use to get the book of a place that sold it, but I don't anymore. Darn !!!
