JEAN'S BAKED HERB SALMON

1 2-pound fresh or frozen salmon fillet (Be sure all bones are removed from the salmon fillet before baking)
1 Tablespoon snipped fresh chives
1 Tablespoon snipped fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 lemon, cut into 1/8-inch slices and seeded

Thaw salmon, if frozen.  Preheat over to 400 degrees.  Line a large baking sheet with foil.  Place, salmon, skin side down, on foil-lined baking sheet.  Sprinkle salmon with chives, thyme, pepper, and salt.  Top with lemon slices.  Cover salmon with foil.  Bake 20 minutes.  Uncover and bake 20 to 25 minutes more or until salmon flakes easily when tested with fork.  Serve immediately.  Makes 8 (3 ounces cooked fish) servings.

Good Morning Everyone,
Sorry I am late with this recipe this morning. I set the time for it to come on at 6 PM instead of 6 AM. Wondered why it was on when I got here this morning.

Hi Marilyn+Jean, I've never liked salmon ever, but my husband loves it. This sounds particularly nice, fresh+simple. Blessings, Carol

Good Morning Willow's Quiet Corner.

Jean enjoys looking up recipes. It is hard to figure out what to put on sometimes. I will see Jean gets your message. She will have a post on Monday.
