THE UNITED CHURCH, CANANDAIGUA, NEW YORK

The United Church of Canandaigua is a Presbyterian and American Baptist Church.  The current church was built in 1871, but the religion goes back much further than that.  Having been inside this church that some friends of my regularly attend, I note the seats.  There are regular seats on the left side of the church, regular seats on the right side of the church and small seats in the center.  I was explained that when this church was built, ladies sat on one side, men on the other and children in the center.  Of course times have changed and anyone can sit where they want.

Good Morning Folks,
I am so sorry that I am late with this post. Usually, I do them ahead, but I didn't this time. Yesterday, I had some unexpected things to do. So here it is today late-but here. I hope you enjoy it.

Saw the first birds heading South this morning.

Hi Tom,
I did sleep in this morning, too. The seating is interesting. I didn't show but they had the front entrance and one on each side. When it was built, the men came in one side and the ladies the other.

Hi Carol,
The seats are full side, just where the children go, not as wide as where the adults sit. It is interesting to see.
