NEWARK CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP. NEWARK, NEW YORK
I know the history of this church as Pastor Dick Watson and his wife are friends of mine. At the age most people think of retirement, Dick became a Minister. He started preaching on Sunday's at a Mobile Home Park. Eventually, he rented a building and held services in there for a few years. All the time he kept looking either for a church or to buy land to build one. To build would be very expensive. Eventually, he came across this church that another religion wanted to sell. It took well over a year of going back and forth before a deal was reached and Dick purchased this church. When Dick first got the church it needed a lot of work done to it, which he and members of the church did. to bring it to the beautiful little church it is today. It is a Bible teaching church. This is a very warm and friendly church. It's one of those if you didn't know anyone when you went in, you will when you come out.

Hi Marilyn, looks like a nice little bldg. interesting how Pastor Watson went into ministry upon retirement. PTL it is a Bible beleiving+teaching church. Newark is somewhere near Rochester, right?
We're off to Sunday school+Sunday service now. Have a great day. Blessings, Carol
Hi Carol,
It is a nice little building. Pastor Watson feels that becoming a minister is what the Lord wanted him to do and he is a great minister. Newark is about 34 miles East of Rochester on Route 31. If you want to know how to get to the church I can tell you.

Oh, I don't think that would be necessary since we live in the Glens Falls area(remember)? Then again, one never really knows, right? Hope you're enjoying your day. Blessings, Carol
Hi Carol,
Well, if you are ever in the area on Sunday, it is on Lincoln Road, which is off Route 88 which goes through down town Newark. Service is at 10:00 AM. You may never be there, but if you are. I am enjoying today, hope you are, too.
Blessings to you and yours,
Marilyn
