ERIE CANAL MUSEUM, PALMYRA, NEW YORK

Erie Canal Museum is on Market Street in Palmyra, New York.  The top two pictures show the building the museum is in.  The third picture shows the door inside the museum.  Picture shows a painting on the wall of the museum and the seat on the Erie Canal.  Those seats are neat as you may be sitting facing one way, get up and turn the back of the chair, sit down and you are facing the other way.  Next is a painting of the Erie and some of the items that were carried on the boats.  Pictures six and seven are of some pictures of the Erie Canal and products that were hauled on the boats.  The last picture shows where people of the Erie Canal would bring their animals and store them for the night.  The area that is shown in this picture is not open to the public for insurance reasons, at this time.  This is a really nice museum to see.

THEY ARE HAVING THEIR ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAZAAR AT THE MUSEUMS NOVEMBER 20, 21 to 22.  THERE WILL BE CRAFTERS, MUSEUM  ITEMS, LUNCH, BAKED GOODS AND MORE.  THERE IS NO CHARGE TO ENTER.  YOU  PAY FOR WHAT YOU WANT OR JUST LOOK. SO GO TO THE CHRISTMAS BAZAAR AND SEE THE MUSEUMS. 98 PER CENT OF THE ITEMS SOLD ARE MADE IN AMERICA.

Good Morning Folks,

Next week there is a break from the Erie Canal. I thought I would put something different on.

Hope you enjoy the museum this week.

We have snow on the ground. Just a little right now, but more is expected.

Hi Carol,
Glad you liked the pics. What we had last night is melting now. Sun it out. We are suppose to have more. It is cold here, that is for sure.

You stay warm and well, too,
Marilyn
