PIERRE'S "THE BARK"

Well, my Mother finally let me back on the computer again.  This time I am on for my annual request.  I know today is Black Friday and a lot of people will be out buying Christmas Gifts.  I also know that money is tight this year as it has been for several years now.  But, if you have a few extra dollars and are buying for a friend, please remember their pets, too.  I am not talking about anything expensive - maybe a toy or some pet food.

If you are giving to a friend that is short on money, they would really appreciate food for their pets.  Their pet might like a toy, too. You don't have to go to expensive stores Dollar General and Family Dollar sells toys and pet food.  Maybe if you had some larger extra money you could get them a gift certificate to the vet to have their pet checked up.  If you had some even larger money, maybe you could give a gift certificate for them to get their pet shots.

Also, please remember the pets at the Humane Society or the S.P.C.A.  They would like some Christmas presents, too.  It could be toys, food, blankets, and more.  Maybe while you are there, you will find a new addition to your family.  I know puppies and kittens are cute and deserve good homes, but don't over look the adult pets, too.  Many of them come spade or neutered, trained, housebroken, and have lots of love to give.  Mom got me on Craig's List when I was three years old.  She says I am the best little boy.

My birthday is coming on December 4th and Christmas, December 25th.  Even though Mom isn't giving me a party, I know I will have gifts for both, but I know some pets won't.

I don't want anyone to take from money they need for bills, or food or anything like that.  Just talking to people who might have a little extra money.

Love,
Pierre

Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Day. Now starts the Christmas Season. If you have a little extra, please remember the less fortunate.

It's really nice to hear from you Pierre, and you have great advice. I'll definitely remember to do that this Holiday Season. I hope you got a special treat on Thanksgiving too.

Thank you Doreen for taking my advice. Others will appreciate it too. I didn't get any turkey for Thanksgiving. Mom had dinner at her friend's house and they didn't give her anything to bring home. Darn !! But, Mom gave me a couple of doggie treats and that was fine with me.

Pierre

Hi Vickie,
I try to be a good boy. Oh, Henry was a three year old when you got him !! We older dogs make good family members, too. What is ebay classifieds? Neither Mom nor me ever heard of that.

Hope you and your family have a great weekend.

Give hugs to Mabel and Henry for me,
Pierre

How lovely to hear from you again, Pierre! It is always good to remember our little furry friends! I used to always get something for my baby kitties, but unfortunately, they were called to heaven. I do send something for my mom's kitty, he is like a brother to me! (Though, I sometimes think mom likes him better . . . ;)

Hi Willow's Quiet Corner,

You were so good to your kitties. I am sorry they were called to heaven. It is so heart braking on us. You are great to your Mom's kitty. You are both special to your Mother, each in your own way.

Love,
Pierre

It was so nice to see you again Pierre. Your comments were great and I hope all that are able do help our less fortunate brothers and sisters and the animals that need our help too. I have two feline girls that live with me. Had I not taken them, they could have ended up in a shelter. Also, there is a stray Siamese feline living on my property. So, I also feed that one although it wants nothing to do with me. I hate seeing it hungry so adopted it with the limitations it has set. It has my barn and tool shed it stays in. So, I will continue to take care of it best I can. Happy December to you both.

Hi dynnamae,
We have stray kitties by our home. They don't have homes, but the people here feed them so they have something to eat. We wish we could find homes for them. During the winter, we worry about them. I would not like to sleep outside in the cold so I don't want the kitties to either. It is heart breaking.

Love,
Pierre
