The first five pictures are of a house that I thought was vacant until I saw the toys and the dogs. I took the pictures from the car as I did not think those dogs were happy to see me.The sixth picture is of a local farm and the last two pictures of yet another farm.

1/2 teaspoon salt
1 4 oz can of mushroom pieces (or fresh mushrooms cut up)
2 or 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine (if desired)

Cover celery, onions, carrots and salt with water and cook until tender. Drain and add mushroom pieces (or fresh mushrooms) and cook long enough to heat through. Drain them all. If desired, add butter to coat nicely. Serves 4 or 5

This sounds like a good veggie combination. My husband loves carrots and I like the idea of adding celery and onions. We're not big on mushrooms but it seems very good.

Good thinking Marilyn. I don't like to mess with barking dogs either. Tom The Backroads Traveller
Good Morning Doreen,
You know what I thought might be nice with that either instead of mushrooms or with mushrooms (if you like them) is pecans. Those flat ones you can get at the grocery store. Just my idea.
We didn't get it as bad as you did a week or so ago, but nothing is moving here. We are digging out.

Good Morning Tom,
Some dogs are friendly. These two did not look that way, so I thought I better stay where I was.

I went to take pictures of the snow today and my batteries were deader than door nails - all three sets of them. So I am now charging them. My battery charger takes for ever to charge them. Maybe Santa Claus will bring me a new one.

Hi Everyone
We hit 900.000 pageviewers today. I can hardly believe it. Thank you all so very much. The next one hit, should be a million. I never thought we would hit this many. You are the ones that keep this going. Again I thank you all so much.

we rarely eat mushrooms, except sometimes in spaghetti, so i would leave those out, and add some chicken breast meat instead, it sounds wonderful!
Hi Annie,
That is another great idea. I will give Jen your message.
