WHERE HAS 2014 GONE ?

Where has 2014 gone ?  It seems that the year just started and here it is ending all ready.  First I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year for 2015.

I want to thank you all for coming to New York State of Mind.  Thank you for seeing all the pictures, reading all the articles and leaving messages.  It is so kind of you.  You are who keep us going.

Also, I would like to thank you for all the gas gift donations that you have made.  They are really appreciated.  It sure helps me to go out and take pictures.  I don't drive as much during the winter months that I do during the other seasons.  But, if there is no snow, I go.

How do I thank Jean, Grandmother Olive, Elmer, Anna, and Martha for all who contribute to New York State of Mind?  They don't receive any pay for what they do.  They are always here.  If for some reason one can't put on a post, one of the others will.  Sometimes they have to think of what to say, but they always come through.

Not all they do is New York State of Mind.  Jean has helped with my back problems.  Anna has, too.  Even Grandmother Olive has come up with advice to help.  I have never gone to their house and not had either a meal or a piece of pie or cake.  Never have I left their house empty handed - they always give me a jar of something they canned, a plate of something they baked, or a container of something I enjoyed at their dinner.

Most of all, we thank you for the prayers that you have prayed for us.  All of them are really appreciated.  It is nice to know that others are praying for us.  We pray for all of you, too.

This year has been a very good year New York State of Mind.  I don't think I had to remove anything this year.  Maybe I did.  I know people sometimes disagree with what I put on, but if they did, they expressed it kindly.

You have put up with my back problems.  My working.  My not working.

My not working may lead to some changes.  I don't know what.  To make some money, I will have to put items on ebay and etsy to sell, which means I will have to have time to do it.  We will see what happens.

Jean, Grandmother Olive, Elmer, Anna, Martha and myself wish you all a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year.  We hope you continue staying with us.

HAPPY NEW YEAR,
Jean and Family
Elmer and Anna and Family
Martha and Family
Marilyn and Pierre

I found out that some people are having a hard time with the I am not a Robot on the comments section.  In fact, they can not get on to leave comments.  I did not put it on, so I am trying to see if I can get that taken off.    Marilyn

Hi Marilyn, May the Lord bless you as you enter into the new year; and may He lead+guide you to follow His will for your life. "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love is everlasting." One day at a time, one step at a time-do all things as unto the Lord.
Of course, my thoughts and prayer are not only for Marilyn, but for all who are connected to New York State of Mind. Blessings to all, Carol

A Happy New Year to all!
Your blog has been a very encouraging place to visit this past year. How much you have gained in the friendships you have shared, and your sharing becomes a manifold blessing to others who read and learn here. Many thanks to all, and may peace from the Lord be with everyone this coming year!

Hello - Happy 2015 to you all too! This year, I feel like the NY State of Mind Blog has grown so much and we have come to know you more too! When I check in on the blog each day it is like checking in with a neighbor "over the fence" just to see what is going on. That is such a comfort to me.....I hope that you keep it going. Sometimes you express concern over what to post. If you think of your blog posts like a conversation with a neighbor "over the fence" - it might come a bit easier for you. I personally like the variety of topics from recipes, to local sites, farm events, to family happenings - just like LIFE!
My wish for you all is a 2015 full of health, family, answered prayers and joy.
Chris

Hi Chris,
Thank you so much. I am glad you enjoy New York State of Mind so much. Lord's will, I plan to keep it going. Glad we all are friends. When I don't get out on the road do to weather or my back, I run out of things to put on. I do keep a little on hold just in case, but I run out of that, too. For a while, I think I have a lot now, but very little snow. Thank you so much for your New Year's wishes. We all thank you so much. I will see that everyone gets your message.

Happy New Year,
Marilyn
