COUNTRY AND VILLAGE BARNS

The top barns are country barns.  Pictures 2,3, and 4 are of the same barn.  Pictures 5 and 6 are the of same barn.  I tried for a yellow barn in picture 7.  That is the color it is, but it came out a little darker on here.  In our village some of the houses were built in the 1700's and 1800's.  Some of the barns built with the houses for horse and carriages are now garages as can be seen in pictures 8, 9, 10.  I still have more barns to put on here.

Love the barn in #8 the best. So neat. But boy, look at the roof!

Good Morning Vickie,

When I was a kid you use to be allowed to keep horses in the Village. Not anymore. Also at the fairgrounds we have a horse race track. So people had their horses for buggy races at the fairgrounds. Those days are long gone by and now that is someone's garage.

Very nice barns, but the white carriage houses are especially nice. In Buffalo in the "wealthy neighborhoods", the carriage houses have been restored into beautiful apartments.

Hi Doreen,

Glad you like the barns. IT is nice that the carriage houses were saved and found a use for.

Hi Annie,

That's my favorite, too. Inside there the man has his classic Cadillac.
