Sounds good to me. Tom The Backroads Traveller
Good Morning Tom,
Glad you like the recipe.

Hi Folks,
People have asked for Grandmother Olive's Whole Wheat Bread recipe. She says it is in her head. You know a hand full of this, a twist of that, until it looks right. So she said she will have to see if she figure it out so she can write in down on paper so it comes out like a regular recipe. So depending on Grandfather Albert's plans she may or may not get this done before she goes to Pinecraft. Then once she has it written down she wants to make the bread to make sure the recipe is right. Grandmother said it is hard to put what's in your head down on paper. I laughed so hard when she said that.

My mother-in-law(Polish) was the same way. Most everything she made was in her head. I learned to make sernik(Polish cheese cake) by watching her as she made it, writing down the ingredients+measurements. To us, it's the best cheese cake ever! Did the same thing with a special Polish Torte(chocolate/walnut). I am blessed in that they turn out just like hers. Really good!
Blessings everyone, Carol
Good Morning Carol,
My Mom was the same way. I can still hear here in trying to teach how to make something saying a pinch of something. I kept asking what a pinch was and her showing it to me in her hand. She kept saying a pinch, a pinch. Mine never turns out just like my Mom use to make it.
Blessings to you and yours,
Marilyn
I'll have to buy some whole wheat flour and try these pancakes. It looks easy enough.

Hi Doreen,
Don't they sound easy and good?

I don't remember ever eating whole wheat panckes. But I will definately make this recipe and give it a try. My mom and grandma were the same way, hardly ever used a recipe and made it look so easy.
Enjoyed her post from yesterday.I like whole wheat bread, just never made it myself. Appreciate all her useful tips.

Hi Carol in SC,
Let us know how they come out.

Hi Ingrid,
Let us know how they come out. Wish I could do my baking without a recipe but you wouldn't be able to eat it if I did. I will see that Grandmother Olive gets your message.
