OLD ORDER MENNONITE FARM TRACTORS AND MORE

Here are some tractor pictures and other farm items that I have taken along the way over the months.  Most of these were taken on Amish or Old Order Mennonite Farms except seven and eight - they were taken at the Wayne County Fair.

Those steel wheels make for a rough ride, but no flats! Tom The Backroads Traveller

The steel wheels are so interesting. It makes the tractor look fancy. Hopefully the drivers seat is well padded. As Tom said, I can just imagine the rough ride.

The green in these pictures sure look nice.

Good Morning Doreen,

They do look fancy and interesting. In some counties they are upset about the steel wheels as they tear up the roads.

Most of the pictures were taken in September - it was still green then.

Something is wrong !!! We use to have between 3000 to 4000 pageviewers a day. Now we are down to less than 800 a day. Did I do something wrong?

I expected it to go down during the holidays, but it didn't. Since New Years we are way down. It's like one day we were at 3000 and we dropped over 2000 in one day.

Is something wrong? If so, please tell me.

Good Morning Jodie,

I did not put that on here. I don't know how it came on. I am trying to get rid of it, if I can figure it out. This weekend, I will contact Richard and see if there is anything he can do.

From what I understand about this robot thing is that Google put it on and I can't do anything about it. I e-mailed Richard and asked when he gets a minute if he couldn't take a look at it. Richard works, so I don't know he will get time to look at it. But, we are working on it.

1st-how's Pierre's leg etc.
2nd-The last couple times I commented, I clicked on"I am not a robot" and no "number"showed up for me to type in/verify/and then be able to post as usual. Thought that was odd. Anyone else experience that?
I find it difficult to believe that viewership has plummeted like that either. Must be a glitch somewhere. Hope it gets straightened out. Blessings, Carol

Good Morning Carol,

Pierre is coming. He has to go to the vet and get a shot the medicine she gave me makes him get sick to his stomach. Aside from that he is getting there.

I can't believe it either viewership plummeted like that. It floored me. It has been going on since the first of the year. I figured the holidays would be lower, but it wasn't. I thought I did something wrong or said something that upset people.

Blessings to you and yours,
Marilyn

Hi Marilyn. I've had a busy week so havn't taken time to comment. However i peeked in every day this week.I enjoy this blog and wouldn't want to miss it.Don't know the answer to the viewership numbers, but i would agree with the others that something is not working right. You have done absolutely nothing wrong, just the opposite you have great posts, beautiful pictures and nice commentaries. Im glad Pierre is recovering, sorry to hear about him being attacked. Hope you are ok, I know that would have upset me too. Ingrid

Marilyn,

I wouldn't worry too much about the numbers. Sometimes the way the pageviews/visitor counts/followers are tracked just don't make sense or get changed behind the scene for some reason. One of the blogs I follow had well over 40,000 followers. One day it dropped to less than 26,000. It was all over the board for a while and then all of the sudden, it was back up to over 40,000.

Some of the count trackers include the bots' pageviews. The bots are the web crawlers that regularly "visit" your site to index the content and other things for the search engines. When those visits are included it is a little misleading as they are not visits by people.

It's very complicated and I don't understand it all myself, but the change in your numbers is not reflective of anything you did or didn't do. It is more likely to be a change in the program or way the program is counting things and it could be that there is a flaw in that that they finally fix and things may go back to normal.

You are doing a fine job. Don't worry about the numbers. I see all your regular commenters are still here! I'm sure all the others are as well!

Hi Willow's Quiet Corner,

Thank you so much. That must be what it is. I can't figure these systems out. It really shocked me how it dropped so fast. Thank you for the compliments - they are greatly appreciated.
