Another of my This and That days. Of course, the first two are barns. Pictures 3 thru 7 are of an Englisher horse barn I passed and thought you might enjoy. I had pictures of green fields, well here are snow fields in pictures 8 and 9. Picture 10 is was originally the East Palmyra School. When the school was closed it became Village Hall. Now it sits their vacant. The last is a sign I saw while driving around in Hopewell. Thought it was kind of interesting or not interesting depending on how you look at it.

What a shame that the East Palmyra School is vacant. It looks like a neat building.

Good Morning Doreen,
IT has been vacant ever since I could remember. IT is very sad.

Had to look up "lugs" this morning, so picture was interesting. LOL I live in central California in a farming area and had never seen this type of sign. My home town that has an annual pioneer celebration and has tractors and caterpillars go down main street. They really mark up the pavement! Have a great day.
It is sad to see that building going to waste. There must be some way to put it to good use-I hope.
+5 degrees/feels like -9 in the Glens Falls area. Looking at a winter storm watch for Sunday night through Monday(4-8"). Monday night actual temp predicted to be -14. Just a tad chilly, don't ya think? I checked and it looks like you're u'll be getting snow, too, Marilyn. We just need to keep reminding ourselves that Spring is coming-one day at a time. Right?! Blessings, Carol
Don't know what happened with that above- "you're u'll"- I didn't type that! Sometimes it seems like this iPad has a mind of its own! LOL. Carol
Good Morning Angela,
I think it is the Old Order Mennonite tractors that have the lugs in them. They do tear up the road. That was the only sign I had seen like that.
Hope you have a great day, too,
Marilyn
Good Morning Carol,
I think it is sad seeing that building going to waste. My Dad use to be in Real Estate and he would say that the place should be turned into apartments. It was 8 degrees when I took Pierre out this morning. Right now it is 7. Yes, we have more snow coming. Spring is coming.
