Earlier last year, I went by the Swiss-German farm and they were building something. Well, a few days after Christmas, I went back to see what was happening. It seems to be a small barn for their horses maybe or possibly their buggy, or farm equipment. There is also a little white building you can see behind that - that is for their chickens.

Good Morning Folks,
If you are in Upstate New York try and stay warm. It is 0 degrees this morning. Pierre and I came back from our short walk.
The birds are coming back. Sam upstairs took over when the fellow that usually takes care of them went to Florida. I took some pictures of them yesterday that I will put on sometime.
Keep warm,
Marilyn
Hi, Was -6 here at 6am, with wind chill of -22. It's deceptively sunny right now+I'm on my way to Bible study. Brrrrrr! Wind chills on Sun may be even worse! Layer, layer, layer! Hats, mittens--be careful! Frostbite is definitely NOT a good thing. Limit exposure outdoors.
Off my soap box now. Keep warm and take good care of pets through this extreme cold. Blessings to all, Carol
Good Morning Carol,
Enjoy your Bible study. I wasn't up at 6 so I can't tell you how cold it was. But you are worse then we arm. Bundle up. I don't have to worry about Pierre. He goes out, does his job and heads right back in.
Blessings to you and yours,
Marilyn
There is ALWAYS construction going on in Amish communities! Stay warm Marilyn. Tom The Backroads Traveller
Good Morning Tom,
You are right. Will try to stay warm.

Oh, I'm not worried about Pierre. It's other people out there in the world who don't necessarily think about their pets in weather like this or the time of heat in the summer etc. It's obvious you love your pup, and he's blessed to have you. Bible study was good. I so enjoy getting together with other women from our congregation and study God's word on Fri's! It has been a challenge this winter, though, with the snow, ice, and biting cold we've had so far. Bye for now, Carol
Hi Carol,
I know you weren't talking about Pierre. The worse are the cats we see roaming around here that have no homes. I wonder where they go. They always make it through the winter. Glad you enjoyed your Bible study. I drove to the post office today and it was pretty bad out. Suppose to be worse tomorrow.
Marilyn
