These flowers are purple but came out blue on my camera. My Mother was devote Catholic so she called these flowers Blessed Mother's Violets. She use to say it was the Blessed Mother's way of letting us know that winter was over and the Lord was giving us Spring. I guess that's why I really enjoy these flowers.

Tulips are the only thing I have blooming. But the flowers are popping up.

Beautiful flowers ... I thought they were Forget-Me-Nots. We still have snow banks in our yard, and everything is still brown and drab. I did see a couple of crocus yesterday. I live waaaaaaaay up in Northern NY near the Canadian border.

They could very well mb Forget-Me-Nots. I just had what my Mom called them. You must be way up north, if you still have snow. WOW. Hope it goes away soon and the flowers come out.
