SPRING IS COMING !!!

When I arose on Easter Sunday there were some robins outside my door, so I had to take pictures of them.  I thought I would show that blossoms are coming - slow but sure.  The last three pictures are from a friend of mine's garden.  Her flowers are the first up every year.  As you can see, Spring is coming.

Good Morning Folks,
I want to ask for a prayer this morning. My car failed state inspection yesterday and it needs $284.00 worth of work done. I had the car in the garage last month and paid about the same amount. The garage man and some of my friends told me I should trade the car in. I need to know what God wants me to do. I am NOT asking for money. I need God's wisdom. I haven't made car payments it over 14 years. The car has 80,000 miles on it which isn't a lot. I don't know what to do.

Thank you,
Marilyn

love the pictures-I think I'm waiting for nice, warm weather
80,000 miles really isn't too many miles
I'm like you on car payments, don't like them. I would get two estimates on getting it fixed

Hi Jodi,
Glad you like the pictures. We must have great minds. I just called another garage and made an appointment for Monday. Agree, I just hate the thought of car payments again. Of course the car is a 1997, almost 20 years old.

Well, my pick up is a 1998 and it does me well. Of course with my husband being handicapped, I have a SUV that he can easily get into.
I take the truck when I go off without him.

Looks like crocuses? Spring is getting closer! Yea! Of course, our area had a bit of snow over night+will remain gray and gloomy here today. Calling for 60-64+windy tomorrow.
Getting a second opinion is wise counsel. Praying for the Lords provision. Blessings, Carol

Such lovely crocuses popping up. I have some green poking up through the soil here.
I think that is an excellent idea to get another estimate.

Hi Jodie,
Yours is about as old as mine is. I don't want any little sneeze car, but I don't need one as big as I got. Also, I sometimes go to jewelry shows and I need a car with a trunk or dark windows so no one can see what's in the car. I don't care if the police see it, I don't want the jewelry stolen from the car. To be honest, I really love the car I have. I don't want to get rid of it. But if the Lord says it's time - it's time.

Good Morning Vickie,
They are crocuses. My friend said she has give of them in front of her house now. I am getting a second estimate to see what happens.

Hugs to Mable and Henry,

Car problems are no fun! 80,000 aren't a lot of miles for that year! I have over 200,000 on my 1999 and still going strong! I hate car payments, too. I wish I felt more confident in American cars, but my last 3 cars have all been Toyotas and have all had over 300,000 mostly trouble-free miles on them by the time I traded. Usually just routine type maintenance needed - oil changes, tires, brakes.

A second opinion is a great idea. I hope the right answer is presented to you soon! Good luck!

Hi Willow's Quiet Corner,
Car problems are no fun, I agree. All my other cars, when I got them paid off, I traded them in, but I was working then - bringing in the big money. But, since I retired years ago, this is only the second car I had.

The fellow that is going to see it Monday is third generation garage man. He is also our village and town judge. So I know he will tell like it is. or isn't.
