FLAG DAY - 2015

You're a grand old flag,
You're a high-flying flag,
And forever in peace may you wave,
You're the emblem of the land I love,
The home of the free and the brave.
Ev'ry heart beats true
'Neath the Red, White and Blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag.
But should auld acquaintance be forgot.
Keep your eye on the grand old flag.

Yes, our flag, THE emblem of our country, should be respected by all who call the USA their home; and should also be respected by the countries of the world. At least that is how it used to be. May the Lord be gracious and merciful to us all.
June 14th 1970, 45 years ago today, my classmates and I graduated from St Elizabeth's Hospital School of Nursing. It was a wonderful day, and the parents were all so proud of us.Such memories.
Blessings to all, Carol

Good Morning Carol,
Our flag should be respected not only in the USA, but all around the world. May the Lord Bless our flag and country.

Congratulations for your graduation from your School of Nursing. Once had a doctor tell me that nurses do more work with patients than doctors do. Nurses are needed greatly.

Blessings to you and yours,
Marilyn

Yes it is a grand old flag. God Bless America.
I hang my flag out every morning and bring it in every evening.
We are expecting storms today, so it won't stay out all day.
Thank you Marilyn for all you do.

Good Morning Jodi,

God Bless America, I agree. It is so good that you hang the flag. We have one in front of our apartments that they put up every day and take it down every night except the weekend - they leave it up. If it is up and a storm comes, someone takes it down over the weekend.

You are most welcome, Jodi. I enjoy doing it.
